About Anglican House

About us

Helping people encounter Jesus through beautiful, enduring, formational books & resources.

Anglican House publishes resources that aim to form Christians in the Gospel through the lens of the Anglican tradition. We are honored to be the publisher of The Book of Common Prayer (2019) and other official liturgical texts of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA). We help equip churches, families, and individuals for a life of faithful worship, discipleship, and theological formation.

Our mission is to provide the Church with faithful, beautiful resources that help Christians pray deeply, believe clearly, and live the Gospel.

What we publish

Our work focuses on three key areas that support the life of the Church:

Liturgy & Worship

We publish essential resources for Anglican worship, including The Book of Common Prayer (2019), liturgical supplements, Bibles, and hymnals.

Anglican Theology

Our books introduce readers to the depth and beauty of the Anglican tradition, including its history, doctrine, and distinctive approach to Christian life.

Christian Discipleship

We publish resources that help individuals, families, and churches grow in faith and follow Christ in everyday life.

Together, these works help equip churches with biblically rooted, historically grounded resources for worship and formation.

Our Story

Shortly after the Anglican Church in North America was founded, Archbishop Robert Duncan encouraged the creation of a publishing ministry to support the new province.

In 2013, Canon Ron Speers launched Anglican House Publishers with a small team of dedicated volunteers committed to serving the Church through publishing.

Over the next decade, Anglican House became the publisher of the Book of Common Prayer (2019) and developed a growing catalog of books for Anglican churches and readers.

After ten years of leadership, Canon Speers retired in 2023 at the age of 90. The Board appointed The Rev. Dr. Stephen Noll as interim CEO during the transition.

In 2024, the Board appointed The Rev. Dr. Christopher Stroup as President and CEO to lead Anglican House into its next chapter of service to the Church.
